  • Your favourite youtube gardener

I've sorted of given up with the normal garden/growing TV programmes now - bland, non-informative and never really seem to go into detail on the intricacies of growing anything.

Anyway, I'm sort of hooked on a few 'veg- growing youtubers' that provide way more knowledge and advice.

I'll not post the links for the people I follow just yet, but curious to know who you follow.

I'm also curious to know if anyone on here post their stuff on YouTube.

Who is that bloke who grows everything in flower buckets?

      I like him!

I don't follow anyone on utoob. I used to enjoy watching permaculture vids but I think I've run out of good ones now. Some are a little bit preachy for my taste and a lot of the stuff they grow I simply don't like.

I often look for Harry Dodson videos....I could listen to that man all day!...but I don't watch many current videos, apart from Mr flowerbuckets.

Sorry, I forgot to add that youtube is the devil's playground.

So, please enter this thread with caution and ensure you have parental consent before posting anything.

I don't follow anyone - just dip in and out if they come up in searches.
Shaky filming, strange accents, catchphrases.........they all put me off. Probably why I rarely watch TV either.

Unfortunately with our incredibly cr@p Internet connection of up to half a Meg ( and it never is that much) I find life to short to do anything YouTube.

But I would like to, I've heard good things about some of the veggie growing sites.

I don't like them either but I think with me it's mainly as they're so time consuming. You do a search, cluck on what you think then have to watch shed loads of waffle before you find the few seconds that may answer your original search. Give me a properly written article every time, can quickly scan the bits I'm not interested in and focus on the relevant bit. Can print off and highlight the best bits fir future reference too

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
