They are using a hay bale and adding it at a later date to the compost heap. I found myself doing the thing I used to complain about my parents doing this morning - talking to the wireless! This method has been used for years.
I can only assume there was no news and nowt happened yesterday.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

I remember someone (Bob Flowerdew?) applying 'recycled wine, beer and cider' to activate the compost heap. For the TV version he used a watering can.........Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment
