  • Yes, really we have!

It started out as a small shopping expedidion to Staples to get a proper, heavy sellotape dispensor for wrapping presents and parcels as well as a 5 kilo box of scotch bonnets for the next batch of sweet chilli sauce (farmers market stall) .

It just so happens that next door is a Maplins electronics store. After getting past the radio controlled tarantulas (I kid not) I came across a set of disco lights, the sort that follow the music, 4 coloured lamps, reduced to under £20.

Well now they are fitted to the ceiling of our kitchen diner, work perfectly and will be a great source of amusement at our next party, which being Christmas will be right soon.

Having tried them with a few Kings of Leon tracks, I fear a trip back to get another set for the garden party area, oh, and perhaps a glitter ball.

Ah, the joys of St Georges retail park, Staples and Maplins together. I also spent a few quid in Staples recently, posh A4 Folder and some sticky book markers for night school.

                Pricey place though.

Have just downloaded the Ministry of Sound Electronic 80s cd, that makes the lights flash.
