  • A year of the beard..... And staying strong.

As many of you know I left the Army in December and from New Years day I challanged myself not to shave for a whole year!

Well its day 16 and Im thinking of quiting lol I need some encouragement to see this challange out.

By the way my wife is not so amazing when it comes to the beard

What do you need to stay strong with?
In the following link you can follow my recent progress on the plot

I'm not the best one to ask for help as I've never been able to grow much of a beard
What does your Amazing wife think about it?

I tried it. After a month I couldn't take it anymore, it was far too itchy. I used to scratch it, which made it red, then I'd get spots, probably from dirty finger nails (soil?).

It did look good though My wife didn't mind it, but the first couple of weeks she didn't like it. I've gone the other way, I'm pretty much clean shaven all the time, though recently I'm shaving every other day as the blades are just too sharp for my poor sensitive skin (double edged razor).

        lucky you,
Mine grew one years ago, horrible things,if you still want kisses Darcy, shave it of,and get a false one, besides, they make most men look older, plus it's easier to shave than keep trimming the beard lol,

Oh, you'd need to keep it shaped imo, as certain parts seem to grow longer than others. Plus the tache seems to collect food..

It's a dawdle till it starts to itch but if you can get past that bit, it's then gets to seem nat.aral which of course it is.

There's only one Bearded Bloke with the exact info though

Didn't see any of your previous posts on this but don't understand why you'd not just shave it off if you wanted to unless you were doing it as a charity challenge. If the first then just get rid, they're horrible things and not nice for OH's either and if it's the second option then good on you and hope ou do well.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Well personally, I love to see a man with a beard, I think they are very sexy and macho
I think you look better WITH the beard (but then I'm obviously biased!).
My ex-husband grew a beard from time to time mainly to please me! So do whatever you feel good with as long as your OH is happy with it.
