  • A year ago tonight at 9.23pm!

On 25 July 2011 at 9.23pm the Forum had the " Most users ever online was 3,858,"
Can we exceed that number tonight?
How many users do you think there will be at 9.23pm?
Shall we try to break the record?

Your 9.23pm? Or mine? Cos at your 9.23 pm I'll probably be freezing me mammaries off driving through Roo country to catch an early morning bus in the next state.
My 9.23 pm however, will be very shortly and I'll be warm enough by the fire.

Its on the main Forum page VVG, near the birthdays. It just struck me that it was our Anniversary and we should celebrate and try to beat the record - but if you're a party pooper
No I'm not bored, just have so much to do I don't know where to start - so this is displacement activity

My curfew's at nine, so not much chance. I seem to remember the highest number before that was around Halloween. Spooky.

TS reported that at this time last year it was "like October" in her neck of the woods
VVG had back ache and could hardly move the next day
RL spent most of the week weeding
                    SusieQ's caulis had bolted
Snadge planted leeks where his giant cabbage had been
With the help of my son, I covered my bras (I can't make that sound any better, I've tried)
Binley picled cauli, peeled shallots and had a cuppa

on the 25th last year, Loudbarker cleared beans and peas and mowed the lawn!

                    Howzat?

Obviously an exciting day!! A trip down Memory Lane for a few of us - but not me as I wasn't really here then. Flo, sometimes I do worry about the problems you have with your bras!!
Not long to go now until its Judgement time - I do like to have something to look forward to in the evenings

Can we have coffee & walnut cake please? And I'm still a lurker now sometimes as well as a member!
The previous highest number was caused by a load of spammers - near halloween as Flo says.

Spookie Spammers, eh? We don't want that sort around this evening!
You can have any cake you like LL as long as you provide it

I haven't been watching it VC, but hope you enjoy it and have chosen the winner. When Himself has managed to turn off the cricket we have found other programmes to watch (rubbish really) and if there have been advertisements, we have managed to fill the time with darts

I am not an eater of cake as you all well know, but I could be tempted to a tiny sliver of the coffee & walnut if LD is offering thank you.
