  • x factor!!! strictly!!!

thought it might lighten the mood! is anyone watching either or both, and who are your favorites??

I can't abide x-factor but like to watch strictly if I get a chance. I love Ann Widdicome's (sorry bout the spellige) attitude to it all. She is so inelegant but great fun and superb entertainment.

I love strictly - spend the whole time imagining that a) I could dance like that, b) Could look as good as they do in those outfits....Sadly have no coordination and would be arrested if even tried to wear one of those......

X Factor - very very dull

I don't watch either, but I do like to watch Strictly - It Takes Two (6.30pm BBC2) with Claudia Winkleman, as it's a good laugh.

The only one I watch is I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, but is all depends on the dynamics of who goes in.

i do love strictly- i love the costumes and am fascinated by how they actually manage to dance so well. ( i am like you sprocket- no coordination whatsoever!) and i love the music too- there is always one old song which used to be a favorite of mine, but had forgotten!

ann widecombe is quite funny, but it is a dance comp. so i think she has to go, and i really can't stand smarmy anton

x factor- i watch the auditions if i happen to catch them, and i do watch the finalists, if i dont fall asleep, but it is not very good and it is quite boring, so i ussually end up switching off to read a good book.

I love strictly, Ann is good fun, I think the judges are a bit wishy washy this year (apart from Craig) they seem to say everyone is doing well

I watch both but turn over to casualty before the end of x factor. Anne and Anton are training at my daughters dance school and she managed to get photo's ( individual one s ) with both of them. Anton is really nice he takes time to talk to the kids and they both get swamped on their way in and out of the studio. Made my daughter laugh this week tho as they were asked not to make any noise while they were filming, ummmm its a tap lesson. ( only two rooms )

Personally I cant stand either, but my DD loves strictly so its inevitably on Saturday nights...she doesnt get to watch the results show, Sunday as its school next day.

                    Why do they do that???

Ours love the other one....they target a family audience but then have the results way past bedtime on a Sunday night.

X-factor here (the OH anyway) I get a bit bored when the show gets going properly, I fined the audition stage of the show better as its funnier

I have no interest in the other show

Currysniffa I much prefer the auditions too. I'm thinking that this year is quite a good year for singers on X factor though... I love Katie and Cher as they have such unique voices and Matt and Rebecca are amazing singers

                          I don't(never have) watch either.
What I can't stand is all the hype and carp that is generated by he press.
You would think these so call "stars" were important.

Hi EP, I agree with you that Matt and Rebecca are amazing singers and I could quite happy listen to them on the radio any time, I think Cher has a lot of promise, the rest are just fillers for me, I don't vote but if I did it would be between Matt and Rebecca for me...
