    Hi All

A couple of years back people posted links to various gardening videos/TV shows. I have used the vines sophisticated search facility but can't find anything.

I think Potty posted a link to a TV series in the West Country about allotment growing....any ideas or recommendations?

I've got the DVDs - but I'm sure somebody on here posted the YouTube links on another thread (Martin H or Pots possibly).

I didn't know what you were on about until I checked the link. .

Anyway, is the TV series this one available from Ama3on ?

If it is - I'm sure Martin H posted the episodes from YouTube on here a couple of years ago. (I've tried looking for them, but with no joy).

I've just spent some time looking at Utube vids - and ended up watching Two girls and a Cabbage - about how to cook a cabbage during the war.
I've also watched how to build a compost heap and how Mr Taylor and his son Alan, and Mr Bailey who had the next plot, prepared their allotments for winter.
They're all WW2 films - fascinating social history. I think I saw a young rary eating boiled cabbage, maybe not, probably a bit too young to be rary.

I think I have seen that one, if it's the one where you were describing how to cook cabbage and keep the goodness in it
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
