We were talking about a section to ask about wildlife some months ago...is that going to happen or was it decided not to have one???

I would really like to have a section on wildlife so we can share our experiences and advice...
    what do other Grapes think???

What has reminded me of this is that I think we have wild boar in our garden in France and wondered if anyone could help identify their tracks/scat.
'They' are certainly wandering around our compost and veg patch!...of course they could be badgers- but I'd have no idea!!

Fabulous idea. We seem to quite lucky with our allotment site, Its very 'organic' shall we say, we have lots of wild life up there all ready. We are going to dig in a pond over the winter and put in some bug houses etc.
The wildlife is great as well for the kids, they have a little mouse called shaggy who lives under the potato baths. On hot days the Slowworms entertain them from the compost bin and they been known to set assault courses for the badger!!!
Lets have a regular wildlife tread.

I opened one of my 3 daleks yesterday to find that the wrapped (in newspaper) veg peelings had a little hole in the middle and a small mouse scampered down the side of the bin. Rude awakening for him/her!
