If you're paying, I'm up for the pub, darcy
Otherwise, I'm staying here, sitting in front of a log fire, playing on the computer with a glass of red

I guess this is where you wanted to put it - if so, done!
See you down the pub later

Do you actually have a nice pub like that near you Darcy? The ones round here are full of kids playing loud music on the jukebox. No real fires either

Not that I know of I have not been here that long and only been in one made a quick about turn as the people looked like crossbreeds they were not the average joes that are usually in pubs but really old and there was an unmistakable smell of pee ::::yuck::::

To afraid to try another don't fancy walking into that again

That's the last time I agree to let you buy me a drink, darcy, if that's the sort of place you frequent
There's a funny little pub down West - taken over by a local couple last year and they're turning it into a live music place. Tuesdays and Fridays there'll be some sort of music - locals mostly - but good for a singalong! Real fire too

I used to be a seven day a week pub-goer. Barely make it seven times a year now!

It's really hard around here to find a proper pub. Most of them are now "eateries" and are full of screaming kids. I'd much rather stay at home. I know of a couple of good olde worlde pubs out in the sticks but they're out of the question as if hubby and I do go to a pub at night we both like to have a few and we won't drink and drive. The only time I visit these places are on a summer afternoon for a couple before going for a long walk or similar, time to get the alcohol out of the system.

The only pub I go to is once a year. They have everything your heart desires, it's all free and the clientele are just my type of people.

Surely you mean sillier? You might even win the leading part in the panto, but don't get your hopes up. As you're new, you might be expected to be the back of the cow
