john taylor (duran duran) when he was about 20, cos i woz in love with him

jon bon jovi ..... cos a group of sexy men round my dinner table wouldn't be right without him.

harrison ford ...... as indianna jones just cos ....*drools*

will smith cos hes cute and just has the best smile

    i'm going for 8 lol ...... cos i'm greedy

and jim carrey cos he'd make us laugh

homer simpson, cos he'd bring donuts, and drink all the leftover beer.

theres definitely more, but i'll stick at 8 ... cos otherwise i'll need to buy a new dining table ...... oh and it will be just me with all 8 of them ....... i'm not sharing any of them

      Fun question!

      Hmmm...

Sean Bean, in the hope he'd stay for 'afters'

Gordon Ramsay, if he'd turn up early and give me a hand in the kitchen (and he can hang around later as well )

Mark Owen (from Take That) because he seems like the sort of nice person who would chat to you all night and say 'it was lovely' no matter how wrong your cooking went

Gordon Brown, so I could quiz him on where the UK is heading (and because he strikes me as the type to clean his plate and get his moneys worth)

Mo Mowlam (RIP) because she was (is) someone I greatly admire

Billy Bragg, especially if he'd provide the 'entertainment'. I'd make him his fave rhubarb crumble too!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Our mates Phil, Ros, Jock, Josh, Pat & Sam
I'm not sure how they'd get on, but it'd be great to see them all together.

Oh and in case you say I'm cheating 3 of them have been on tele, so are sort of 'famous'!

The greatness comes not when things go always good for you,but the greatness comes when you are really tested, when you take, some knocks, some disappointments;because only if youv'e been in the deepest valley can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain.

              I think I'd go for:

Vivian Leigh, I think she'd be larky and fun with good stories.

Vince Vaughan. I agree with Jen.

Jeff Bridges, or El Duderino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing. But he has to come in character.

Rudolph Nureyev, I'm an ex-ballet dancer, and would love to hear his stories, plus I think he'd be brilliant company.

Leonard Cohen, he's the man. In fact, I'd send everyone else
home once he arrived. Me and DH have a Special Dispensation Agreement...

Kelly Brook. Because of the aforementioned Special Dispensation Agreement. Grrr...

My Grandad - my inspiration and still my hero. Miss him loads.

Ghandi - he'd definitely be worth listening to.

Mary Robinson - she always sounds like great craic as well as being well worth listening to.

Meatloaf - I think I'd like one of the rockers, and a friend has told me about him being such a gent in real life so my house wouldn't get too trashed. And he could start the singsong afterwards.

Dame Judi Dench - I suspect that she would be great craic as well and have plenty of stories.

My Grandad - cos he's such an inspiration on loads of fronts. And he'd definitely get a kick from Ghandi and Mary R.

I think number 6 would probably be someone like Jamie Oliver (although he can annoy me at times) as he has done great things for food and GYO, or Monty Don, as he is such an inspiration in the garden.

I know it's a bit of a heavy crowd, but it would make for a very interesting dinner party and lively discussions.
