Who has lived in the most number of houses?

At least 34 - we did a count on here a while back; I know it is 34 as I counted 30 when I was 32 and have moved 4 times since.

I moved round alot during my formative years. And No, none of the family was ever in the forces

I get itchy feet. Have been told I am not allowed to have them anymore though But with my eldest now at school it is unlikely we would want to move anyway as we wouldn't want to change schools.

15 so far, and im sure i have plenty more to come as im only 37!

Lived in 6 since I was born, 4 of which belonged to my parents . We've lived in our current house for 23 years and the end of the mortgage is in sight. Yey can't wait.

As a squaddie and from a broken but happy home, I can recall 17 houses from the past and we are about to move again. Oh and two pubs/clubs thatmy parents ran, so 19 in 47 years.

Taking this thought in the completely opposite direction, who has lived in the same house for the longest?! A couple of weeks back I got talking to this lovely, dignified elderly man (my current job involves calling door-to-door to conduct research interviews): he has lived in this one same house his entire life (he is in his late 80s), give or take a few years doing National Service: he grew up in this house, raised his own children there, and lives there now with his wife. He has SO many memories - including the street being bombed in WWII - he told me this great tale about how the house next door was flattened and they all thought the baby [in the kitchen asleep in it's pram] must be dead. As it happens the baby was fine and had survived unharmed in the pram [nope, they don't build 'em like they used to!]. Many, many years later he got talking to a visitor to the town who recounted the story that he had been told as he grew up, about how he had survived as a baby in his pram when his house had been bombed ... yup, this visitor to the town was that same baby from the house next door all those years back! This is what is so wonderful about staying in the same hands for so long ... all those memories. I have lived in just nine different houses, the longest being my childhood home, where my mum still lives and where my children have spent a lot of time. Wierdly, my own daughter has now moved in just a few doors down, into the place where my best childhood friend lived when we were small (aged 3-10ish) - I haven't visited her there yet, but already this has conjured up a whole load of stuff previously forgotten, and it will be interesting to be going back in there after all this time and in these changed circumstances.

Surprising few considering ongoing military life - well, it surprised me when I counted up! Just 23 in 53 years, feels like more

22 different houses, at least. I'm 39.

5 until I was 21, then 5 since.

Last one for 27 years.

13. and I hate moving!!

Having a head start on you peeps I can only admit to a lowly 7. Our last move was about 30 years ago.
