  • Who fancies being my neighbour?

Chatting to my current next door (plot) neighbour t'other day and it turns out he's losing one of his plots later in the year. He and another dude took on the plot next to me, then took on the one next to that as well. He's allowed to keep that one as it has his chickens on it, but needs to vacate the one next to me.

The reason he has to vacate is down to the dude he was sharing with. His plot-mate's life circumstances changed and as a result there is some animosity between them. The plots were registered in the other dude's name, and he contacted the parish council to relinquish them without telling current plot dude. Harsh eh?

Current neighbour is a little relieved however, the two plots are just too much for him to cope with.

So, who fancies chewing the fat over the fence with me and Bean?

Well I can't blame them for that. I'm lucky that all my grandchildren live fairly near to me, so I see them regularly. It must be rotten if you're at the other end of the country. Hope their passports are up to date and they've got their currency for the Sarf. Wish them luck from me.

In actual fact, they have another grandchild on it's way soon (no, not us) so there's even more reason to head this way. Bean's cousin will live 10 minutes from us when they arrive.
