Where can I get old wood pallets? (Kent)

Take a trip round your local industrial site and knock on some doors. Lots of places are glad to get rid of em or make a small charge. Alternatively you could scout round skips.

try places where they are building, our tile shop has loads, and theres often pallet storage places round, who usually sell them fairly cheaply........ try an ad on your local freecycle, and the ads in your local paper.

Try any independent shop that sells gifts/cards/ornaments/candles/small furniture (got friends with one, that's how I know). They usually get their supplies delivered on pallets and have to pay to dispose of them, so will probably let you have them for nothing.

Building sites/Landscapers may be an option, but they often have a return deposit on them.

Sod's law; I live half a mile from a pallet storage/sales yard and I don't need any!
