Hi what's going on only been able to get posts after I logged on. Is it me or the forum gone wrong

I don't log off as such. But have just picked up my I pad and just clicked on new posts. Only got posts that were posted after I refreshed. Strange. Hopefully will go back to normal tomorrow. If I'm not logged on I don't get the "New Posts" option (well, the site doesn't know who I am so how can it know what I've read so far).
I do get the "Whats New" and "Todays Post" buttons and I'm able to go to the forum root and browse through the different sections.
