  • What are we looking forward to today...

    Even when things seem bad I think it is important to have things to look forward to, so this is what I am looking forward to today;

    I am looking forward to making some cute little seed packets for the seed swap parcel today, ready to post as soon as I get an address. I am also going to make sure I finish my christmas puds today then when we are eating one on Christmas day we can remember our dear friend who we lost on the day they were made. I am also in a way looking forward to saying goodbye to Ollie when Joe and my friends husband come and help me lay him to rest. We are putting him on the bank where he often sat to welcome us home so he can welcome us home forever more.

    What are you looking forward to?

    Trip to the post box with some seed packets for people on here (Doesn't take much to get me excited eh? I'm a real cheap day out, me!)

    Looking forward to this afternoon's Tai Chi session in the village hall when I'll catch up on all the gossip. Really friendly village and we do enjoy our get-togethers.

          I'm looking forwards to staying in, turning the heating up and doing nothing except perhaps digging the Christmas decorations out to see if any need replacing and making something filling and warming for supper. I've got to pop to the lottie for a couple of onions and to drop off the peelings in the compost bin, but it's going to be a flying visit. Then later I've a new book to start ('Under a Blood Red Sky' by Kate Furnivall). It's set in Siberia so with any luck the characters will be even colder than me.
          Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

                      Bride: I thought you put underwear hockey - and was quite shocked.

                      HW - sorry to hear that.

                      I'm out tonight - sitting in a freezing cold village hall at a photo group. Cold squash available for snack, so I'll be taking my thermos full of hot coffee.
