  • What is this pan for please?

Oops! Impulse buy at a charity shop earlier this morning I'm sure it's got a useful purpose but not sure what? The handle turns a paddle inside.

    Any ideas?

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

      Its a popcorn maker.
Put oil and corn in the bottom. Put it on the stove and start stirring the paddle. When the popping stops open the lid (not before!!).

You could use that for loads of stuff I'm sure, sauces and stuff? I'd have bought it too...

This is why we love you Claire - that and the cheesy peppers.

I love it!!! I'm always burning popcorn and trying to figure out how to turn it without taking the lid off and end up shaking the pan like a loonie.

Noted for if I ever see one in a charity shop myself.

You're very welcome, the paddle is good because it stops any of the corn catching on the bottom. Also, if you add any flavourings (salt, chilli etc) you can give it a jolly good mix with the paddles to make sure its evenly coated before pouring into a bowl. Enjoy!!

I didn't have a clue what it could be for! But I would have bought it - it's brilliant!

Daughter has one of those Duck shaped ones that flirts the corn out of its beak, it seems to work well.
