  • What hobbies or non related gardening projects are you doing over the winter?

Me and our Florence is starting a pompom rug or blanket starting today. She is six so is very into all this girly fluffy stuff. Anything that keeps them occupied eh?

Apart from the kitchen DIY and making Xmas decorations, I'll need to start making things for this coming year's Autumn Fair.

I'd like to spend a bit if time doing more on my family tree...once I can find the box with my papers in it!

I'm already doing Pilates once a week but I need to kick start my 1 hr of swimming per week after the new year.

I'd like to have a bash at cushion making too sometime...and maybe some curtains.
It always surprises me how suddenly the growing season is upon us and no doubt half of what I'd like to do won't get done!

I would like to take up yoga too but where I am there is nothing on my door step. Soe of the girls at work do some type of exercise in the dark outside with only glow sticks as their guide. Not for me but they are losing weight..

I've decided that the only thing I'm going to do is Sugar craft but as soon as im ready to get going the light fades too much. I need to invest in a couple of decent lamps with some daylight bulbs...anyone use any?

Swapping two rooms round so I have more space for my new business! (And also forcing Hubby to be more organised in his new smaller space!)

Oh, and like BigMallly-with-three-Ls I've recently picked up my pencils again. I say recently, as in yesterday.

On my desk I have a fab old lamp with a very bright bulb. Works a treat! You know the sort, I don't want to advertise as it is a brand name, but it's the sort with the long stem with joints in, that you can change the 'angle' for the correct 'poise' lol

I am knitting baby clothes for my brother in law who's partner is having a baby in January. I usually paint a picture (watercolour) for my homemade Christmas cards but too much else going on this year for that to happen, although maybe I still will.

Scarlet, this maybe a dim question, but what is sugar craft? Is it icing cakes?

I'll have a go at any crafts but my main ones are scrapbooking, card making, embroidery and dollshouse miniatures. Plus I could easily sit and read all day long.

I have several knitting projects on the go. I usually have some knitting but there have been several babies to knit for and my OH wanted a waistcoat. Have knitted a jumper for no1 son for Chritmas, which I must get sewn up and finished. I've got some cross stitch to do as well.
Plenty of seed sorting and planning to do as well. Unfortunately I have to work too, which is an inconvenience.
