    What gets you in the mood.......

    for housework?!!Having spent the 6 week summer hols doing as little as possible to spend time with the kiddies & then the 1st 2 weeks back to school DD has had time off after having grommets fitted & then the boy was off over a week with scarlet fever!Now they're both back & really have no excuse other than in Lainey lou's words "lazyitis"!!!
    Usually Janis Joplin full volume & windows opened wide does it for me,but.....
    So come on..tips!!

      I have one of those 'sad' minds that can't focus/work etc without all being in order - so as I work from here I have no choice but to get to it

        I put my glasses on and look around!!( and quite often just take them off again quickly so that I can't see the grime!)

            NOTHING gets me in the mood! I have to have deadlines. That's why I like to invite friends round for a meal - I have to sort out the pit first then get cooking!

              I think that may be my plan!!Thing is now the sun's come out & I really don't like to keep the boy cooped up indoors when he could be getting fresh air at the lottie!!...Still there's always tomorrow!!

                  we all know your life is much too interesting and exciting to be stuck at home doing chores, go on girl, get out there! Blow the housework!

                        Snap! I always said I could get as much done in a concentrated hour before my in-laws arrive as the rest of the week just half-heartedly wandering from job to job!
                        Life is too short for drama & petty things!
                        So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

                              I'm so glad most other people hate housework as much as me - and there's only me here!!! I do have a blitz from time to time, mainly when I'm expecting visitors, but there's far more interesting and rewarding things to do. Besides, when I bought my vaccuum cleaner, I had a theory that if you only use it once a week instead of every day, then it should last 7 times longer! See, I'm economising as well
