What do I fill my huge area with & how many tonnes please?

Hi, total novice at this so please go easy on me .

I had an idea of a raised bed, half for flowers and half for veg.

the area is:
335"/28'/8.58mts length
29"/2.5'/0.75mtrs width
15"/1.25'/0.38mts height

Could anyone please tell me?

What to I fill it with (all topsoil)?
How much will I need (online calculators are all different, last one being 3 tonnes)?

If you were to buy to fill it you will need 2,500 litres. Each different compost type/soil type has a different density so the weight will vary.... plus it will be heavier when wet.

But you don't need to fill all at once - use the search function and you will find thousands of posts telling you what to do.
