Friday 13th has always been a good day for me.

13 years ago my husband proposed on Friday 13th
We got married on the 13th and we have 3 kids (happy to say not 13!!!!)

Everyone will be fine, just smile through the day and any bad luck will go away sulking

Well I hope nothing goes wrong for me today- as I've got the builders in!

They're just discussing using a dump truck to push a huge oak beam through the lounge window- which is on the first floor...lets hope they don't break the window!!!

I've just asked them and they said it's a day of bad luck here too...strange how these superstitions cross international boundaries!
My OH's birthday is the 13th and it does occasionally fall on a Friday- but we consider it good news then- cos we always take each other's birthday off work- so on the Friday 13th years we get a lovely long weekend!

My lovely sis in law is having her big baby scan today, and I think she was a bit worried about the date, so I'm keeping fingers crossed for her!

I'm convinced baby girl has been affected by the full moon this week so I'm keeping a close eye on her today. Any unusual hair sprouting/spontaneous physical changes/howling, that kind of thing.

Something which nobody ever thinks about, but is perfect sense when you do:

Every month that starts on a Sunday will have a Friday the 13th.

Heard it on the radio - amazin' what you can digest so early in the morning! So far, my day has been good! My dentist check-up was even quicker than usual - simply nothing to do, then I got to work and found that my cloning (just bacterial DNA, not animals, don't panic!) worked. Yippeeeee!!!

AND the sun is shining. Might have to go for a walk!

i've decided not to get dressed, to not use anything sharp, or hurty, or hot (other than the kettle) and to stay in the house, snuggled up under my blanky till midnight.
