  • What CD shall I chose?

(To be honest I've already decided, but thought it might be fun anyway).

Saw the specialist dude last night about my back, and I've got to go for an MRI on Friday - I'm having dye injected into my back to show up the scar tissue from the previous op apparently.

I get to choose my own music to play me whilst I'm in the machine (last time I just chose something on their sheet).

    What would you suggest/choose?

Oh blimey. Hope it all goes ok.

Whatever you find uplifting/makes you feel good/brings happy thoughts I guess. For a pure 'how can you feel down whilst listening to this' song; Queen - Don't Stop Me Now springs to mind. How much music will you have time...*gulp*...to get through?

                        Hip-op or ABBA? I'd choose Hip-op.

From memory I'm in the machine for about 15 minutes I think (it was 7-8 years ago last time - but I do remember my head sticking out the other end of the machine)

I was demonstrating the noise that they make to someone earlier and our finance director thought there was an alarm going off somewhere.

Anyway, for those that are interested - here's my choice:

I'd just tell them to plug in my ipod. It's got numerous 80s classics that you can't buy. The Fall Guy Theme, St Elmo's Fire, Devil Went Down to Georgia (ok, that's 70s), One Night in Bangkok....

Think I have to go get my ipod, now!

Good luck, Wayne. MRI scans are pretty harmless, but some people do get a bit claustrophobic in them. Keep your eyes closed!
