  • What is it about Pringles?

I find it impossible to eat just a few, I've got to finish off the whole box in 1 go!!! A packet of crisps - fine, no urges for more. Box of chocolates - fine, just eat 1 then put in fridge for another day (can keep them from birthday till Christmas, then Christmas till Easter) But put a tin of Pringles in the cupboard and they start shouting at me "Come on, just have a couple" and the next I know is they're all gone!! Anyone else have this problem?

Yep..Pringles'll do it for me.....but then so will pretty much anything edible!!Crusty white bread & butter has been my downfall today!Keep going back for just a tiny slice more....don't know why I don't just admit defeat at the start & spread the whole loaf with chunks of butter & just be done with it!!

          Parma Violets for me...

At parties during the 90s, my friends always used to get the bloomin pringles out - and when they had enough they would ask me to look after them and to stop them eating them all - I was always the sensible one!!!

my wife has now banned me from buying lime pickle,I have been known to eat a whole jar with poppadums and then found myself too full for the main course, despite knowing what it does to my guts.
I also have a problem with the pringles

Pringles contains the emulsifier E471 which comes from a hard fat and producers have found that it is inclined to give an "addictive" flavour to any food it is added to. I was surprised to see that Pringles are only 42% potato.

Well all crisps have that affect on me, if I've opened a packet of walkers chilli flavour sensations, I can't shut it again. Crisps don't fill you up though, it's not like eating a good ploughmans doorstop is it!!

It's the drugs. All the E numbers are addictive I reckon. Yes, Black olives too!
