  • We've Lost Colonel Potter

Harry Morgan, Colonel Potter in M*A*S*H has died. Ninety-six wasn't too bad an age, I guess. Sad though.

    Oh no!

M*A*S*H was one of my absolute favorites.

I remember hearing the theme tune as one of my very earliest memories....

Yes, and it wasn't due to a inadvertent chilli accident.

That is really sad, but what a grand old age. Himself and I have watched all the M*A*S*H episodes about 4 times now. It shows my age that we watched the original showing. I think we know the script, but still enjoy watching it. The last episode was just as brilliant as the first. Some grapes in the Chat Thread will remember me watching it five nights a week from 6 until 8 in the evening until the whole series had been on. Barmy.

Sad news, but what a great age - and what a great series M*A*S*H was. Something you can watch over and over and still find hilarious. Harry Morgan really found his best role as Col Potter, I think, he was the perfect foil for Hawkeye and BJ.

I may have mentioned BJ Honeycutt as one of my obsessions before on the Vine.

                      I preferred Trapper myself.

Mike Farrell. Not doing too badly - I think he aged well. But Trapper was cute.
