Just heard about this. I used to love 'are you being served' and Eastenders in the early years. It is sad. My thoughts go to her family.

It is a shame, I grew up laughing at her in 'Are You Being Served'.

She was fab as 'Miss Brahms,' I think she did some Carry Ons too. She will be missed.

                  (I don't watch deadenders either)

Always sorry to hear of a death, especially in such circumstances. However was disgusted to read an e-mail in the paper where somebody in the middle of a condalance to Wendy Richard had managed to have a go at the fact that Jade Goody was using the media. The former chose to die in a quiet way which was her choice but not necessarily right for everybody. Unless you are unfortunate enough to be in such a terrible position then you don't know what you would do to make you cope. Found it all very distasteful for anybody to critise somebody who is dying, especiallyl as I understand the number of young women going for smears has gone up loads in the same way as people having breast lumps checked out went up when Kylie was diagnosed.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
