  • Wellie's Back In Town....

HEY! Put it there.... HIGH FIVE....!

Yup! Wellie's back in town after a two and a half week 'house-sitting' stint for two of the loveliest Siamese Cats you could ever wish to meet........ APART FROM the fact that they insisted on playing 'chase the imaginary mouse' round Wellie's bedroom at 4am every morning, and Trousers having just evacuated the last of the Runny Babbits previous evening and all. What?

It's been an absolute 'CORKER' to house-sit this lovely house, and with the owner's return today, she is SO pleased, that I am to house-sit in future for her 'long weekends' in the near future dontchano.

But do you know what 'blew my frock up' the most in all of that time?
Yesterday, her Gardener asked me if I would mind helping him finalise the plans for the Vegetable Garden (*see Wellie tell Trousers and Trousers raise eyes to Heaven and go "Well James IS rather good looking DOH?!".....mmmm See Wellie swoon............................................................................)
and Wellie, keeping her cool, managed to produce a 2008 Veggie-Plot Growing Plan fit for a King.

And without doing James down in any shape or form......
when you have THAT many packets of seeds and completely no plan, how the Ruddy Hell can you make a plan for the forthcoming growing season without getting your arse in a muggle?

We've all been there. Loads of seed packets, oodles of enthusiasm and 'Sh!t' where do I go from here? and I KEEP learning from that. You can always help sort someone else out somewhere along the line, and when you're able to, it's an absolute pleasure.

Good to have you back Wellie
Our lovely cat brought a mouse in the other night, & LET IT GO....! Bloomin thing ran over me foot at about midnight, I nearly went through the ceiling and Jez came dashing in from the kitchen to find out what I was shrieking about... Not that I'm scared of mice, but I don't fancy one up my trouser leg

Hello my luverly and welcome back . We don't have a cat (as you know) but our traps caught 3 mice last night. Time for a cat methinks.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your "work" and what a bonus to be able to help James with the veg garden - he must owe you one now?!

Welcome back wellie, wondered where you'd got to? Now I know, you've been in the potting shed with James whilst trousers evacuated .........the bunny rabbits!

Welcome back Wellie. Odd this as I was wondering just an hour or two ago where you'd got to.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Hello hon - lovely to see you back.

                *big hug

I trust that you asked James the dishy gardener to log onto the Vine.....?

And on the subject of mices - heard a bit of a crunchy noise in the hall last night and went out to find Oli with precisely half a mouse. Vile.

If dear James logged on here he'd know quite well what to do with his seed mountain (show him the swap board - and don't bags all the good ones first!)
Nice to have you back - hope the coat's nice and warm.

No - I didn't suggest James log on here. And he'd prolly be beetroot colour to think peeps thought he was good-looking. Hell of a nice chap actually.
It's really good to be back home. Trousers doesn't think so, because I've managed to untidy the whole cottage in a matter of hours. No, I don't know how I manage it either.... and I've missed you lot SO much!
