Helping to reduce bee harming pesticides. I've not been in my local one yet, but I shall this week. Good for them!

Farming News - Aldi Süd first European supermarket to ban "bee-harming" pesticides
    Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
    Endless wonder.

Good on them. You would think, given that they sell us food, supermarkets would be leading the charge to make sure our food production is maintained.

Hopefully others will follow suit. I don't know how some of these people in these huge companies sleep at night with the underhand decisions they make
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

It's the sheer STUPIDITY of the nitwits in power who baffle, madden and frustrate me Bees are so incredibly important yet ~ as it often seems with most non-human forms of life ~ they are casually dismissed as non essential and it's ok to poison and destroy them.

What is this overwhelming human obsession with going against Nature instead of working in tune with her? No wonder there is so much flooding, famine and destruction in the world This planet evolved to work in harmony with everything doing a job and everything in balance....not one thing dominating and destroying everything else and creating a huge imbalance

Perhaps we should force politicians and those in power to tend a garden or allotment for a couple of years and THEN it might get through into their thick skulls that without that natural balance it all goes to pot!

That Jeremy Corbyn has an allotment. Just saying...

But well done Aldi. It's not the first time they've shown up the big supermarkets. Maybe that's partly why they are gaining market share.
