    Wasted Journey

    Just got back from a 30 mile round trip to the E N T dept. of the local hospital. Had to pay £2.50 to park and all for nothing. My appointment had been cancelled. Only person not told was me.

    What a waste of time, petrol and money.
    It is the doom of man, that they forget.

      How annoying.
      Mr S phoned his dentist today all cross still because he couldn't get an emergency appointment - and asked when his next checkup appointment is. 7 months ago, she said. Please tell us when you can't make it, she said.

          Look on the bright side - at least you don't have to pay for the consultation you didn't have this time - or the next one you will have - and you're still well enough to get annoyed!!

              check with the hospital if they have a PALS (patient advice and liaison service) they may reimburse you for parking, travel etc if it was not your fault.

                Maddening when that kind of thing happens isn't it - because it could be so easily avoided.
