  • Vinstock -anyone for paella?

If I know about it before we go to Spain on 13th May, I can be prepared to make paella at Vinstock for as many as want some.
I can adjust to have a 'paella inspired' vegetarian dish, and anyone who has other diet-restrictions, but would like to sample my efforts, just make sure I hear about it in time to plan!
No problem making up to 3 variants as required, but I WILL need to know in advance!

That's a cracking idea, we eat chicken and seafood but not red meat so you can put us doen for some for sure.

Do you want us to bring the seafood as a contribution?

I'll be making things like hummous and some other vege dishes like Greek beans to share and I'm willing to chip in with the cooking also.

Sounds wonderful. I would love to have some paella. I'm not too keen on fish so, if you do it, please could I have the veggie version, thank you

Which day were you planning on doing that? Lunch or dinner? Sounds lovely.

So jealous. I really wish I could make it. Sadly, money won't permit it at the moment.

I'll be there and I eat most things so any sort would be bon for me!!
Mme P is properly French and eats ANYTHING so it would be good for her too.

If anyone is in a position to bring fresh mussels and/or prawns, that would help. I've no doubt chicken bits ( when making for just the 2 of us, wings give a decent stock and just enough meat, but if there are enough folk wanting, can use a whole one!) and some colourful veg can be bought locally, and the rest I will bring from Spain, but need to know how many want what. I can do a 'veggie' a 'meaty' (chicken and a bit of chorizo, but no fish) or whatever is wanted, if given plenty of warning (and access to a few cooking pots and heat sources).
I'll cook it whatever time seems best for most people, we plan to arrive towards the middle of Friday, and leave to catch the overnight boat from Oustreham on Monday.

I think I'm the only one at the moment asking for a veggie one but that's only because I don't like fish -well, I do but..., anyway

I would be very happy with a meat one so, if I'm the only one then don't make a veggie one especially for me.

Orders by PM please, so I can keep track!
Bob I hope you can provide me the facilities! I can use any saucepan-like thing (preferably with a lid, my method is not entirely conventional) and no trouble cooking over flames as long as there is a good pot-standing surface!

If I dont have the required vessels, I can guarantee that Mme P will. Cooking can either be on the bbq with open flames first of all, it is stable (or will me once my mate has finished with it) and will be big enough (its an old copper immersion tank with a lid cut out), or inside in the kitchen, whichever you prefer.
