    Vi@gr@ for flowers

    It was anounced by the gardening expert on BBC.Coventry & Warkickshire radio this morning that the way to make your flowers stand up in the bowl of water is to use Vi@gr' 1 miligram out of a 50 miligram tablet into the water .
    So that is 50 bowls of flowers out of 1 tablet .
    I have heard the clip and if you want to it is in the Annie Oathen show this morning between 9 and 12 noon and available on playback .
    I do not know if it helps with taking cuttings....jacob

    I also read years ago that if you water your real xmas tree with vi@gr@ water the needles don't shed.

      A rather expensive way to keep your flowers pert. Though it does give an excuse when going to buy it. "Oh I have no problem the wife/partner wants it for the flowers"

      Personally I will take it with a pinch of salt.
