  • A very special month..

    Just had to share.

In the past month we have had the following.

    Birthdays, 94th, 75th, 70th, 68th, 67th, 60th 57th, 38th and a 6year old.

We have been to all of these parties with 4 of them being weekend or mid week holiday breaks in the country.

We have had 2 new arrivals, both female, and last but not least we had 2 first holy communions, both on the same day (yesterday), ( one being our grand-daughter)

Has anybody else had such a busy month?

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Afraid so Cardiffsteve, and now that the affects have worn off and the partying is all over myself and himself are sitting here counting the cost( financially I mean)
        Oh well, onwards and upwards.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

Costs a fortune doesn't it Bramble? Well worth it though. We have 6 birthdays next month, Goddaughter, 3 grandchildren, myself and daughter. It's more of a special year really, Ruby Wedding Anniversary, Himself is 60, my daughter is 40 and 3 of the grandchildren are 10.

March and April are the busiest months here. Although it starts in late February with our wedding anniversary followed my sister's birthday the next day, then my youngest son on on March 13th, DD on March 18th, BinL on March 31st, niece on April 6th, No2 Son on April 10th, my brother on April 12th, oldest son on April 22nd. Interspersed with the birthdays are a couple of cousin's birthdays and some wedding anniversaries and Mother's Day, then my Mum's birthday on June 1st. Then, thankfully, we have a break for a few weeks until July.

Thats what "family" is all about when you come to think of it.
Theres enough sadness and upset in our lives so why not celebrate when the opportunity presents itself.

Wow what a lot of parties - don't think I can cap that.

Got several this month. Mum's 70th was Friday but due to various things can't do party til this Saturday. When she found out the response was "I suppose I'll have to wait another week then!" Hoping all goes well on Saturday.
