Default Very happy

Just had to tell someone our good news...

Mr OWG has been awarded a special bonus from work, as part of a reward for a project he has been working on for 2 years.

It means that we can spend the money on getting a lot of the house and garden finished this year, without worrying about where the cash will come from (e.g. new carpets and blinds, electrical work; more landscaping and plants, new gates etc)

It was a very nice surprise and a very welcome one!!

Congratulations, and to Mr OWG. It is so nice to get rewarded for working hard, and even nicer when unexpected!

Lovely news. Don't forget a special treat for yourselves though. I always say that bonus cash should be spent on something you would like to do but haven't done because funds were needed elsewhere for necessary things.

Never mind the seeds-keep away from the tool counter! Good work and I hope the home improvements go well.
