  • valentine's day? What do you do?

OH and me are off to a swanky restarant where they do a special night on valentine's with little puds to share and a rose and chocs on the table for the laydeez. etc

Have to take out another mortgage to go there but worth it. Esp as Grandma is having the boys for the night so I can have a lie in too - yay!

I might get some flowers too if lucky, or a garden pressie if really lucky! I've got OH a bottle of his fave type of wine, took ages to hunt down.

    What do other grapes do?

Don't answer if your answer is NOTHING! lol It will spoil it for me!

MInd you, the first year I was with OH he rushed out after tea after not even a card (I was most upset) and returned with some PLASTIC roses from the local garage.

He thought they were REAL. And when he realised they were plastic he said 'I wondered why they had any left at ths time of night' (lol)

I have kept them in a vase to remind him. I can laugh about it now...... But he does better now

Hmmm I am erring with the ladies in the corner here, I try and make sure I'm working away thus negating the situation in the first place.

Well... we don't go out for dinner, nor buy presents or cards but we might cook something nice. Dh once made me a card on which he'd drawn a pool table (it was to remind me that we'd agreed it was something we wanted for the cellar).... not exactly romantic but it was a very good drawing.
