    Utter Bliss...

    ....there's nothing like it....

    A Chip Butty.

    I have died and gone to Heaven.

    After a hectic day good cookery was the last thing on my mind. So it's chicken nuggets & chips. I don't like chicken nuggets, even though these are proper chunks of chicken breast, so I've got a chip butty.

    Oh it's gorgeous!

      sounds good to me! Despite several years doing A levels and a degree in Home Ec - and I know whats good for me, I do insist on eating something not good for me at least several times a week!

          OOO..that's just what we had for our spesh supper a couple of nights ago..well twas with eggs and chicken and mushy peas too as well as ketchup..and a mug of tea with fresh milk ( all a luxury out here- I can tell you!!!)

            Well I have had mash, fried eggs ( newly laid ) and baked beans yumm its too late by the time we get back from daughters rowing practice and I am not organised enough to sort something to be ready by the time we get back.
            Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
            and ends with backache

                With you on that one Hayley, I prefer brown bread for everything else though.

                Chips are cooking now - yummy, my mouth is watering at the thought of the chip butty

                  Just had to say that having read your post I am now craving a lovely buttered chip butty with salt and vinegar on the chips. It was meant to be a prawn salad tonight but hey life's to short to be good all the time. Mmmmmm I will put the lettuce back and keep it for tomorrow but hey chinese vegetable spring rolls sound so good and it will be Friday after all.

                        Jings, it must just be me - I don't like chips And the idea of putting them on a roll or in a sandwich

                        Maybe I just don't know what I'm missing - but I can't bring myself to find out
