  • Urgent help needed with group email problem.

I have a group email with 27 contacts but it seems that when I send emails not all the contacts receive it despite checking they all still on the list. If people change their email address they usually let me know. Yesterday's email was only sent to 14 recipients and from the list they were to numbers 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, and 27. Trouble is the email was to cancel a shoot at Carlisle today but if anyone had any sense they wouldn't have gone anyway given the weather forecast!
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

You had me worried there, Miss MT. I thought it was a problem with the Vine!
Sorry can't help with your email problem.

Miss MT If I was you I'd contact the help service for you email provider and see what they say because I've had a bit of a google and people seem to have had similar problems but they're fixed in different ways.

I reckon it could be down to everyones server .some might see it as spam from your provider.

I'd delete them from your distribution list and re-enter, it usually refreshes.

You could add a read receipt on your mails so you would at least know who got them and read them..
            Would that be a start?

Another suggestion would be to do it via a text based service using a group set up on Whatsapp for example... No worrying then about who did or did not receive the notification!!

I already have that set up, but johnny may have the answer as I posted my problem on another gardening site and the one answer I got said the same. I'm going to make three new email groups and put 9 contacts into each, send them out and see if everyone responds. Thanks for your help.

Just an update on this problem. After splitting these contacts into three groups yesterday, I have received several emails from each group and ticked them off my list so I know who has and hasn't received them. Think that may have sorted it out.
