The one thing that is ongoing with me is my Court case v the local Council. Before the first hearing I was told it would depend on the attitude of the presiding Sheriff. Innocent little me thought the law is the law and an individual's attitude couldn't possibly affect the outcome. Silly me. Next Court hearing likely to be in February so it will be some time yet before things are settled

This year (next year - 2013) I am definitely getting stuck into the restoration of our

      B.S.A three wheeler.

      Cheers, Tony.

Life in general... Everything has been put on hold while I try to get any doctor anywhere to prescribe the tablets I need to function, which I've proved conclusively to my own satisfaction are what I need, but which the medical profession have now decided I don't need. I've withdrawn from my OU course, my allotment is knee deep in weeds, and I haven't been on here for far too long as what energy I have has been deployed in Christmas prep. The New Year will see the battle lines drawn, and a full scale assault on my poor GP, armed with reams of evidence, will hopefully get me my way and normality will resume... Fingers crossed!

Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) entered the light car market in the late 1920s with the introduction of the Beeza. They built a total of 6,650 cars between 1929 and 1936.

I know, actually, BB!! My husband always wanted one, or a Morgan 3 wheeler. We used to go to the Classic Hill climbs at Shelsey Walsh and he'd eye up all the cars in the carpark, trying to decide which one he'd have, if only he could!

My mate lent me it for the day,he reckoned I would never have passed it on my own bike

I did local hill climbs in the late 70's in an Escort mk1 1300GT (not quite as it left the factory )

My house is still unfinished- so I'm hoping to have it finished by Summer(ish)..

Have to finish the kitchen off (skirting to paint, couple of touch ups/cutting in to do), then onto the Utility, and loo. After that, It'll be the living room, hall and landing in one big sweep - then it's done. Sounds not too much, but there's more rads to put in, new power runs to do, CU to replace and hook power up to the garage etc, new floors to lay. I do have further plans, which is to re-do our main bathroom as I'm not happy with the tiling, but that'll be much later on. After that, it'll be onto the garden (which is a bomb site), and then I'd like to tarmac some gravel around the house & out front too.

I'd like the outside lighting finished, as that's the only thing outstanding after the rebuild of the extension. It may have been done by now, I'll find out in a few days. Then all the builders' bits and pieces cleared away so that I can reinstate the front garden that has been used as a dumping ground for the last few months. I want to finish that before spring and get it planted up.
