Not me, am smug that I'm upto date with my sowing (although some of my broad beans are a bit on the leggy side so not perfect
)
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Jan sowing in pots of leeks, onions & lettuce now in the mini-greenhouse.
Feb sowing in pots of leeks, sweetpeas, springers, lettuce & broadies on the windowsill in the spare room. Just a row off parsnip/radish to sow at the Hill at the weekend.

Nope. Chillies, toms, peppers and aubergines all sown, but yep I am itching to get lots and lots of seed sown, just holding my hands behind my back until middle March/early April.

I'm twitching. My sensible head says I should wait until the weather gets slightly better even for the polytunnel, but my other head says just get started
I planted some tatties in a planter at the weekend but that's all.

I'm smug as well I've got chillies, sweet peppers, 5 different toms, aubergines on a sunny window still. Then spring onions, broad beans, sweet peas in the greenhouse along with some lettuce in that been in the border since October.

Got some things started indoors, impatient to get started on outdoor stuff. Parsnips first (just need to actually get out there. OH has barricaded the back door to stop Shadow getting out alone!)Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.Comment

I'm not starting until next month. Nada. Not a single seed. I usually start too soon and have problems. I managed to kill my early toms last year. Sob.
Also, us french grapes can't use window sills as our windows open into the room and there aren't really any sills to speak of - not in my house anyway
The greenhouse is still too cold for what I want to grow.
Didn't the RHS do a study on sowing toms early then later and found that there was absolutely no difference in the end result?Comment

Ask anyone they'll tell you like a bear with a sore one during the winter (though something is always growing such as onions, garlic leeks, etc.). So far all I have going is chitting pots.
Must get around to cleaning the g/houses sometime soon......The cats' valet.

I should really have planted my parsley and chillies. Avoiding planting tomatillos and tomatoes as with the late frosts last year they took over my kitchen as I was too much of a wuss to risk them in the greenhouse overnight!
Realistically I doubt I will do much planting until mid to end of March. Though then I may risk the tomatoes in the unheated greenhouse under fleece. I do have a heater, but never worked out how it worked.
Am playing with the seeds and working out lots of planting plans though.
