Can't wait. It's my favourite thing. Should be a cracking battle between the big four.
Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,

No way. I'm just glad you reminded me that it's on so that I can make sure that I avoid it when I am in France.

Well 3 of us at least, so we can at least have a chat about it for the next 3 weeks.

I'll be watching on Eurosport so I'll have a beer every time Sean Kelly says "making the calculation". That should see me right.

I can't understand a word he says. Mr Kirby cracks me up, but as soon as Sean opens his mouth I'm changing channel or looking for a torrent of the ITV coverage. No doubt he is an expert and great with his knowledge, but jeebus, some level of understanding is required to filter through his accent lol.

I watch on Eurosport too, and this year with bonus seconds back for stages 2 -8, Sean will be "making the calculation with the bonifications". Perhaps thats worth two beers!

I really like Sean Kelly as a co- presenter, just a shame that for the Tour he comes with Carlton Kirby. I much prefer Rob Hatch, I thought he did a great job presenting the Giro.

Funny how different presenters/commentators appeal to different people.

Jens Voigt is commentating now for overseas channels, I've caught a little of his commentary and he is pretty good!

                            No, can't get ITV4 here.

Used to watch it - and love it - in years gone by. But just like athletics, in the light of recent disclosures ... Did the best man win? Or the one who took the biggest dose of smack? The magic is gone ...
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.

I love the tour but am not sure how the allotment will cope- it has become used to my every waking hour! I have hardly seen any cycling since the spring classics!
No matter:the allotment is lovely, the tadpoles have legs, my sea kale has germinated and I am glad to be home.
