  • Today was my first experience

of putting b**bs in the camera for 50 something women - well - there we are, I had a truly wonderful (!!) experience compared to what I have heard.

No pain at all, lovely Radiographer, we laughed a lot - and I got picked on for a survey by a mmmmm gorgeous man outside Tesco (which is where the b**b truck was!)...

.....THEN, I start to drive back and water warning light came on, I continue to drive home, cos it's rural round 'erebouts innit and there is nowhere to stop for water. THEN - a horrid nasty pinking sound (I remember from my youth this isn't a good sound).

I pull into nearest tiny rural garage, nice chaps say leave it here till it cools down, we can't do much at the mo, we'll run you back to camp.

Back at camp, nice neighbour says 'your car is a bit young for all that and didn't you have it serviced a couple weeks ago!' He's right on both counts.

So, I'm off back to nice man in rural garage to await nice man in Mini pick-up truck to come get me and lovely Mini, if he can't fix Giles (Mini!) at roadside he will get a courtesy car brought out to me tomorrow - so he says.

    Nice Nursey/Radiographer
    Nice Survey Man
    Nice Garage Man
    Nice Neighbour
    Nice Pick-up man

And there me thinking why would piskie want to put bulbs into a camera - is it for her flash, it wasnt until you mentioned Radiograph that the penny slowly (oh so) slowly dropped. Hope your girls and Giles are all okay

Mmmm, working for a local independent garage, Im very concerned that having had your car serviced a couple of weeks ago, that now he has no water. Don't want to worry you, but obviously you must know that ain't good for Giles' engine. Do let me know how you get on.
Glad everything went well with the b**b photo - mmm, only a couple of years to go before I get my call up. Being on the small side of small, Im wondering how its going to go! LOL!

Totally at a loss with this one I'm afraid!

I had my first pictures taken earlier this year, not the best experience in the world, but not the worst either - especially after very nice lady taking the photos and I both got a fit of the giggles! Apparently it's worse for smaller ladies!

have had a few done so far. Its always uncomfortable, but better safe than sorry.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I had a mammogram last year, i found a lump in my "Bulb" and went for it checking out, i haven't got what you could call " Small Bulbs", but when the lady put them in the machine i nearly died ..looking at your "bulbs" when they've been squashed i might say is an experience in it's self, the radiographer and me had a good giggle about them, she said most women are surprised....i know i was , result was good, nothing to worry about.

Oh how luffley, I embarrassed our Snadgers and him being a tough Northern lad

Thankfully, Giles is a new-bought car and so is still under warranty, but I still fear for him - the bulbs however are very old and most deffo past they light by date
