This is my 3rd or 4th attempt - here is today's achievement. I made a "normal" loaf of soft white bread - 3 1/2 cups bread flour, 1 sachet quick yeast, 1 1/2 tsps sugar, 2 tbsps olive oil (not extra virgen) and 1 tspn salt. Then added about 300ml warm water. Kneaded the h**l out of it for 6 mins in my Kenwood. Left it to rise for about an hour or until doubled in size. Then kneaded to shape with my hands AND THEN THE MAGIC! .........................oooooops kettle is boiling - back soon!

                oooooops - sorry chaps - "got side-tracked)
Magic = 1 egg yolk, sesame oil mixed together with a little cornflour - paint it on whilst the dough is on it's second prove. I put about 4 coats on. The flavour still needs a bit of tweaking though. Love from "The Minx" (mrswadders) - and no JAY22 they do not know what Tiger bread is over here - hahaha!
