Awww come on folks, I've had more than my fair share of attention now
It's wierd, when you're in hospital and someone asks how you are you can can easily tell them the last important thing that happened I.e. "I just managed to get out of bed", "They've taken me off the morphine", "I just weed 500ml for the first time in 10 months!". But once you're home there isn't so much change from one day to the next. It's just a waiting game.
It's slowly getting more comfortable, but I tend to spend most of the day in bed. It's perfectly comfortable to be stood up, it's just any clothes with a waistline tend to press against the wound. Even jogging bottoms become uncomfortable after an hour.
On the plus side, my Mum and Step-Dad came up this week. My Mum sorted out all the sowing, planting and potting in my garden under my close supervision. My Step-Dad built me a new garden gate from scratch and now that there's no gaps it seems to have solved the cat problem
So for the time-being I have to go to hospital for blood tests and observations 3-times a week for 4 weeks, then twice a week for 3 months and then once a week for a year. Just as well I'm not scared of needles, but my arms are starting to look like most of the Hull druggies'!Current Executive Board Members at Ollietopia Inc:
