  • the things people get up too

Took a walkies to my plot today and got chatting with a gent, whose name i shall not reveal, to save embarassment, and we started chatting about composting, manures and stuff.

He (excitedly) told me that he recycles his own manure (use ur imagination), i asked him what did he mean? He said that when he needs to go, he will come up and here and 'do it', he then proceeded to show me his 'area' of homemade manure and after what I have been like these past few days, I made a run for it. I really cannot believe he does that, he seems such a sweet gent.

    Anyone else do it lol?

A lot of the "waste" from sewage farms is turned into compost.

When I was a teenager, my Dad used to buy "Dagfert", this was compost from the Dagenham sewage works, mind you he only ever grew flowers.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

One of the farmers near us sprays his field regulaly with sewage.
He has to be careful though as the ditch at the edge of the field runs into the village duck pond and he has been fined a few times for polluting it!!!
I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
