  • They've only gone and given me the job...

    Morning all..

So I was on the lottie the other week and the chairman and oldish chap was cutting the grass on the main paths because the chap who's job it is didn't want to do it any more, he said he only has to cut it 4 or 5 times a year then went on about how much it pays and which paths need to be cut, I thought not bad it would pay for my lottie and my seeds so I offered to do it as I have the time..

Anyway he got back to me yesterday and asked if I'd do it after we've had the AGM and I agreed, I only have to do half the site too, so for a couple of hours a mouth I get my lottie, fees and seeds paid for

It got me thinking has any other grapes on the vine got little jobs to help out on there allotments?

That's great news CS...congratulations. Bounce on the rent & seed front as well. I don't have an allotment (been on the list for yonks). And it shouldn't take up all ya time ether so your own allotment won't suffer. Just goes to show...nothing ventured...nothing gained .
