    Are they made for walking?

I'm still wearing short sleeves, 3/4 lengths and flip flops round teh house, but went out for dinner last night and resorted to a pair of jeans.

I love little light summer clothes, and will be packing mine away when we get back from Spain I guess. But! I love Autumny clothes too, and get quite excited about gloves, hats and boots. For me, each season is wonderful in it's own way, and whilst I adore Summer (as I sit with the "Summer" rain lashing down outside), there's something magical about the thought of snuggling in front of the fire, and Bonfire Night and all that!

I realised with dismay last week that my winter clothes haven't been packed away for TWO YEARS! I dug out winter work boots two days ago and I'm even wearing them in the orifice, which is normally like a tropical rainforest.

What summer clothes! lol. I got the big coat out on Monday and have been wearing it to work all this week, haven't turned the heating back on yet but I have got the wood burning chimneys cleaned, so you could say that i am gearing up for winter

Oh the 'Big Coat'. We've all got one of those. Mine's a ski jacket and has far too many horsey stains to wear anywhere posh, but I wear it, anyway. Tis good for personal space.

I got a jumper out on Tuesday night when i changed after work - I had been wearing a stringy top over the weekend!!

Autumn has definitely hit here. I may even have to go into the attic tonight and get down the fire irons and guard

Had a Autumny tea last night (cottage pie followed by rice pudding) and lit the Rayburn this morning, so I'd say Autumn is well and truely here.

I'm with you Rhona, I love Autumny clothes and "snuggling"!!

I think we have had about a week of weather where I was able to wear summer clothes. I dug the summer clothes bag out from under the bed and washed loads of stuff - wore some once - now putting it all away again.
