Wow Red Thorn that was some storm! I'm hoping we don't have anything like that in store for us.
Am I being cynical when they say 'Experts say an event like this is a once in a decade thing' and I think, then why do I have to pay more insurance after making a claim if the experts know that it's not going to cost the insurance company for another 9 years.............

G4, I'm too heavy to get blown away
85% of Mandurah still without electrics, what is nice is to see everyone just pitches in and gets things done like them chaps with chainsaws. We went for a walk about and cleared loads of debris off the roadsNever test the depth of the water with both feet

LOL about the person with the chainsaw! When our ute was our only vehicle we went to visit friends in sydney and as I pulled out the bags friend remarked...........isn't that something to do with electric fencing.........well yes! And there's bolt cutters and pliers and.............
