  • Thankyou grapes

Just wanted to say thankyou to everybody for such kind thoughts and words over the last week. My two girls were incredibly brave today speaking at the funeral.
I have been keeping up to date a little on the vine but haven't really felt like talking , so now I want to wish you all a happy christmas and say what a wonderful bunch of grapes you all are.
To Nicos your advent calender has given me something to look forward to each day and has actually raised a few smiles.
To TS you sound a lovely lady who needs to be appreciated more by the OH. Next time the weathers good enough to spend time up the lottie learn where the off /cancel button on your mobile is .After all we don't appreciate things or people till they're gone . A lesson he needs to learn.
As to the snowman competition , well I would enter but Coventry has had a distinct lack of the white stuff even though it's been bl**dy cold. In fact it is now flippin raining.
Right, enough of my ramblings I think I am now off to have a glass of the red stuff and a mince pie or two.

Binley I'm sure you were even more proud than usual of your girls today.
I'm sure Christmas will be a bit different for you all this year, but I hope you all manage to enjoy yourselves as well as thinking of your mum.
My very best wishes to you and yours

(hugs) to you Binley. Not sure 'Happy Christmas' is quite right but I hope that over the next few days you and the girls will be able to think of the good times as well as feeling the loss of your Mum. xx

Binley, How lovely of you to come on here today and thank us. I'm really pleased to think that the vine has helped you over this difficult time. I know it has helped me more than once in the past months since I discovered it.
I do hope that you and your girls can enjoy Christmas even though it will be different this year.
As you said you enjoyed the snowman thread, here's one for you. My good friend and neighbour has made a tradition of snowbunnies rather than snowmen and this is his current model (I have his permission to post this on the vine).

Thank you so much for posting Binley I was thinking about you today. Make sure you take some 'me' time and share a different but heartwarming Christmas with your family - new traditions, old memories.
