Default Thanks

To all those who sent messages of concern about me and boats and helicopters.

I wasn't on the Riverdance on Thursday night but did sail out of Dublin on Friday morning and after hearing the news it wasn't the best feeling I've ever had boarding a ferry not knowing if any of my mates were on the Riverdance. Luckily no one I know was on it and everyone got off safely.
Well done to the rescue services who got everyone off the ferry and back to saftey.

Forgive my ignorance beefy - no idea you are a ferryman.

Good to hear your safe regardless, and I agree, well done all those involved in the rescue, and all those doing the same up and down the country at the moment.

Beefy drives a Big Truck in his spare time and eats yorkie bars.

Hence the ferry over the water from Oirland...

Thought about you today, actually, Beefy - I drove past Hams hall on the way to Ryton for the potato day.

Good to hear you're ok! I thought about you after that poor chap and the high winds on the M6 earlier in the week too.

As Hazel said Im a HGV driver at the weekends.
Took Thursday and Friday off work and because the weather was so bad I could not get a booking on a boat from either Larne or Belfast .We were told to turn up ,join the queue and wait for a space on a boat . We dont use Seatruck Ferries so we then tried Dublin and Stenna said that we could get a deffinate booking on the 9.30 ferry on Friday morning.
Piskie can you tell snowdrop to stop his lads from flying so low up along side the M6 from J37 up to J40 as it scares the s**t out of us half asleep lorry drivers when they fly over us at 300 mph .And can they stop using us for target practice on the A66 as well as the Harriers have been known to slow down and wave their wings at us while flying beside us.
