    Tender - volume two!

    Mr HF bought it for me at the weekend
    FANTASTIC!!!
    I just love the way he words things, even if I were never to use a single recipe I would still love these books (vol one -vegetables, vol two - fruit)

    £15 in some book stores - look around !

      I got mine today too! It's gorgeous... don't think there's a single thing in it that I don't want to make £12.50 and free delivery at Amazon.

          Have got Vol 1 and that's very good so may ask for Vol 2 for Christmas

          Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

            seahorse you are so right the book is simply gorgeous! great price
            love the cover, love the type and the slightly 'tired' looking pictures - a real 'comfort' book.

              I had mine pre-ordered on Amazon for months. The release date was pushed back from the summer... thought I was never going to get it

              Anyway I made the roast pork with pears , it was great. I really loved the rub he put on the pork with the rosemary. This wekend I missed out the pear bit and just roasted the pork with the rub... it will become favorite I think. Oh and the crackling was amazing

              Love Nigel Slater .... his italian sausage pasta is still a firm favourite with my husband!
