  • Tamagotchis

Does anyone else have to "babysit" their kids Tamagotchis while they're at school? I am currently looking after 5. Although I must say they are a lot tidier and less noisy than my children.
Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.

lol, i didn't know they were back in fashion, when my son was little i killed his puppy so many times, i ended up getting him a real puppy, cos the mechanical one did my head in.

No, I refused point blank to have anything to do with them! Meanie mummy me, but I have their real animals to look after as it is, and if something started bleeping at me I'd be likely to drown it in the washing up bowl

Kids one went off at 2 am. Sounded just like our alarm clock. It was inside the sofa and it took hours to get it out. Hubby was spotted out in the garden in his undies hitting it with a brick

I remember doing this years ago, drove me nuts!
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Bless them my kids have a normal Tama each, they pursuaded me and my OH to get one also so we could all play games together and then we got them the Familichie ones in America so we have 6 of them. As you say Pootle, at least you can Pause the blasted things.

We also say in our house, a toy left on the floor is a toy that goes in the bin. Works well most of the time.
I'm new to veggies, but trying !

Ha ha! Not sure I have enough bin bags for that one to work in our house

Hahahaha . . I loved this one. Yeah, I've given birth to several Tami babies while the kids were at school. I get in trouble with the kids if I neglect them. Luckily, they've moved on a bit now to the Wii fit stuff, so I don't have to babysit as much as I used to.

I re-discovered 2 of them in a drawer over the summer holidays, so Twinkle-mini and her friend had one each. Hours of fun.

I leave them on pause (but sometimes secretly play with them when I have a sec)
