    Hi BM

Love Egypt but never been to Taba. If you get the chance to, take a flight to Cario for the day and see (and go into) the pryamids and deffo Cario Museum. Amazing place and experience, just don't even think about driving around though!

I guess if you can't swim then diving will be out for you ? The diving in that part of the world is fab and very reasonable.

I'm assuming that as you are so close to the border, you could easily pop over to Jorden and see Petra (something which is on my to do list). You can see a little more about Petra here

Make sure that you take some hand gel with you though, and do use it. The money is very very dirty and will give you a poor tummy. If you do get ill, don't take immodeum (sp?) unless you are flying that day. Go to the local chemist or hotel reception and ask them to give you something, in my experience this is much much better, and means that you won't habour all of the bugs in your gut (sorry for such a grim tip !).

    Enjoy !!!

Even if you can't swim, it's still worth wading into the water as if it's anything like where we were (Hurgharda), the water was unbelievably clear and you could see the fishes swimming round your feet.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Brilliant, Quad biking is available which I hope to try along with deep sea fishing. Naturally I have read up quite a bit but you cannot beat personal experiences, hence the thread. Thanks everyone & pleas keep any advice coming.
