Strange things are happening with or without logging in. Says I'm logged in when I haven't and when I do log, I can reply to threads but my post won't appear or update against that thread. So just testing if I'm able to post new thread which I can see from the home page but when you click to go inside the General Chitchat section, my thread isn't there at all. Guess nobody is seeing this thread either so I might as well be invisible.

EDIT 1: SBP, I know you've replied a post but I can't see your post !!!!

EDIT 2: Now I can see all the replied post, database totally jumbled up by the sound of it. Seemed to be many instances of my loggin going haywire. Not allowed to post new post except make changes here

If in doubt, PRESS F5, it sounds like your screen is not updating fast enough.

Don't know what it was but it seems to working, at least for now. Only the home page was working (showing all the most latest thread) but when you tried to view each section, the most latest thread was not there, as if it was stuck with non updated threads. Anyway I cleared a lot of my browsing history.

Terrier your suggestion that my screen might be slow also sounds plausible. Try posting this post to see how quickly I'm able to view it.

Shortie is the computer boffin! I just report things! Let us now how you get on veg4681. Bramble was experiencing some pretty strange stuff and others are getting a woooomf when they log on.

I have not been around much for the last four or five weeks as I could not get a connection at all, and even if when I did I coldn't move around the threads or post. The whole system kept crashing. That was explained (apparently!) by a really weak broadband connection (less than 0.5mb), but that has been bumped up a bit and I am now wizzing around the forum (well probably not, but it feels like it!)

As I say let us know how you get on.

Thanks to Terrier for suggesting to press F5 which I believe is refresh screen option but I now click the refresh button at the top which works a treat.

Unlike before, I didn't have to do this at all but now to get around, I have to click refresh for every single action, including this thread; I could see you had last posted but when I accessed it, your post wasn't there so I refreshed the screen and it was viewable alright.
